Lanre Philips

Dr. Lanre Phillips is a seasoned professional whose experience has spanned over 25 years in the FMCG, Banking and Telecommunications industry. In the social enterprise space, he has worked with several business hubs, incubators and accelerators in Nigeria and other parts of Africa. He has an unusual passion for the growth of Small business through the development of human capacity and implementation of sound business strategies which translate into operational excellence.

He is on the faculty of several training organisations and has trained extensively on Business Strategy, Storytelling, Organisational Behaviour, Business Branding, Customer Service, Leadership, Sales Techniques and Entrepreneurship amongst others. A proficient member of the Global Entrepreneurship Network, Nigeria team, he has worked in different capacities on projects such as You WIN, World Bank’s Women X Programme and the Road to Growth by the Cherie Blaire Foundation. He is a member of the board of several organisations including the Integrated Institute of Professional Management (IIPM).

Lanre has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the prestigious University of Ibadan – 1995, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and also an MSc Economics from the University of Jos. He obtained his Doctorate in Business Admiistration (DBA) from the Swiss Management Centre.

Dr. Blessing is a C-Level Executive and “businesspreneur” who leads and provides direction for many Multi-million Dollar business in Oil and Gas, Finance, Fintech, Blockchain etc. As a top Executive and Business Leader, Dr. Blessing is a go-to expert in proferring solutions to global trends in changing business dynamic.

Dr Blessing’s solutions had helped businesses in conceptualization of strategic ideas and delivery of values. His market knowledge and experience span across Nigeria and other West Africa countries, which he believes present mouth-watering opportunities for discerning investors all over the world.

Dr. Blessing is a leading expert in collaborative strategy with an eye on global competitive advantage and ESG. A faculty member (in innovation, business strategy, Entrepreneurship) in some global business schools with campuses within West Africa.

As a change agent, Dr. Blessing leads and serves as BOT members of some community and skills development non-profits organizations.

VGA stands as an exceptional visionary with more than two decades of industry experience spanning Venture Building, Venture Scale-up, Technology Innovation, Angel Investing, Business Analysis, Strategy Development, and Market Expansion. His consistent record of achieving remarkable revenue growth and overall performance has solidified his position as an exemplary business leader.

Leveraging extensive expertise in Nigeria’s tech ecosystem, VGA established the Eko Innovation Center. This hub provides pre-acceleration, acceleration, and incubation services to early-stage enterprises. His mission is to harness youth entrepreneurship and innovation to address poverty and unemployment. Under his guidance, the center has empowered over 250 startup teams, fostering the creation of thousands of jobs and collaborations with civic tech partners.

Adetutu Afolabi

Adetutu has a burning desire to see people deliberately make lifestyle choices that would not just improve their individual wellbeing, but the wellbeing of people around them. She is a pharmacist and a seasoned serial entrepreneur, who thrives on expanding horizons and testing limits to create new avenues for maximum productivity.

As a pharmacist and seasoned serial entrepreneur, she is persistent on expanding commercial horizons and testing limits to optimize productivity. This drove her ambition to start Wellness, a community pharmacy practice in 2007, borne out of her keen interest in affordable and accessible health care for community members. Wellness has recently evolved not just to a Health Insurance company but also to a platform for Wellness advocacy and education.

An avid proponent of value creation for all stakeholders and driven by excellent service delivery, I enjoy building sustainable processes that improves organizational effectiveness and efficiencies.
When she is not busy leading the Wellness Organization, you can find her coaching young entrepreneurs, reading autobiographies or just being an amazing wife and a caring mother to her children.
